The Ramsey's

My oldest sister, Kelli came out with her family for a visit last week. We had such a nice visit. We went to the Wild Animal Park, Oceanside Beach and of course, we shopped. We also got to meet the newest addition to the family, Landen Wayne.

Grandma had all her grand daughters together on Friday night.

Sweet little MiKaylee

Right when we got the beach, Jayci feel all the way into the freezing cold water. She didn't cry, just kept saying how cold she was.

These two are inseperable.

Kelli and Landen

Everett really enjoyed his time. He took his girls multiple times down to the water to hunt for shells. He found 2 whole sand dollars and a bunch of little shells.

Everytime we go to the ocean, Kristi spends a good portion of her time chasing Laney. This time was no exception. Laney likes to check out other people's snacks, towels and bags with her very sandy hands and feet. Kristi must have got her a dozen times.

March 19th - Tracy Dodson did Rylee's 3-year old portraits. They came out fantastic. She is an amazing photographer. You should see the trouble she goes through to take these - moving furniture, using props, standing on whatever is near by. Rylee was so good, posing for hours and smiling! Kylie's Bridal Shower

My good friend Kylie is getting married in May and today was her Bridal Shower. It was such a nice party. She got a lot of great gifts and was surrounded by a bunch of great ladies. Kylie is such a dear friend and I was so glad to spend this very special day with her.

Skinny Meat

Tonight we had Corned Beef and Cabbage for dinner. As we were eating, Rylee kept picking apart her meat. I asked her what she was doing. She said "I only wanna eat the skinny meat, not the fat meat. " I had to laugh and it actually makes a lot of sense.

Swimming Lessons

With summertime so close, I decided it was time for Rylee to learn how to swim. She has gone to 3 lessons so far and each lesson is an adventure. There is 3 girls in her class including Rylee. The first lesson went good, Rylee was really stiff and kept trying to sit up so water wouldn't get in her ears. The second lesson was a disaster. I brought my camera, but never took pictures because Rylee cried for a good 20 minutes of her 30 minute lesson. I'm not sure why, although Paisley did ask her right before they went into the pool, "are you gonna be scared this time?" Thankfully, her most recent lesson was much better. I think it mostly had to do with the fact that Kasie had come down for the week and was there to watch. She still was stiff in the water, but no tears!

Kissing?

I happend to be watching Rylee play with her dollhouse, without her knowing that I was watching her. What I saw her doing well.............see if you can figure it out!

Yes, you're right. She is making her dolls kiss.

What Saturday's are meant for!

Saturday we went to this beautiful park in L.A. (believe it or not). It sat on hill and had amazing views of the city. The weather was perfect. We spent most of our time on Rylee's favorite, the swings! Then we watched some of Luke's baseball game, which Calvary did win a big 1-0.
